I can't find my item on your site?

 

With the kind of items we buy they should all have a barcode on them. If the barcode is not working you can also search by the product name. When searching for a product by the name if you can not find it please try to enter more search terms such as "wii console" instead of just "wii". If you still can not find the item it probably means that at this time we can not buy it but if you like you can email us and we will check for you.

 

How do you calculate the value of my item?

 

The valuation on items is calculated using the latest market information based on what second hand versions are currently selling for. Our database is updated daily so you can be sure the quote you receive is the most current.

 

What happens if you say the item has not passed your quality control?

 

If the item does not pass our quality control we will send you a revised offer by email. If you decline the revised offer we will return the item to you. If we do not hear back from you after 5 days we will assume you accept the revised offer and continue at the revised price.

 

What happens if I disagree with the value after inspection?

 

If you receive a revised offer due to quality issues and you decline it then your item will be returned to you.

 

How many items can I sell to Bogo?

 

You can sell as many as you like as long as they are not all the same item. If you wish to sell multiple identical items to us please email us for a quote instead of using the automated system.

 

How do I get paid?

 

You can choose from several payment methods including Paypal, bank transfer or gift vouchers.

 

How long does it take for me to get paid?

 

We aim to make payment within 5 working days of receiving your item but during busy times please note this may increase to up to 10 days.

 

Can I use Bogo outside the UK?

 

Unfortunately Bogo.co.uk is only available in the UK.

 

Is the price quoted the value I will get?

 

If the item is in good condition and everything is included then that is the price you will get. If the item is missing accessories or in bad condition they you will receive a revised offer by email that you can either accept or reject.

 

Do you buy CDs, DVD's, or Games without the case?

 

We can buy items without the case but the price will be less than the automated offer price by around 50p - £1.00 depending on the item.

 

Do you buy electronics that are missing accessories such as cables and batteries?

 

If an item is missing any accessories then the offer price will be reduced slightly. We will send you a revised offer by email that you can accept or reject and have the item returned to you.

 

What if the item does not have a barcode?

 

If the item does not have a barcode then unfortunately at this time we will not be able to buy it.

 

What if the item is in poor condition?

 

If the item is in poor condition we will send you a revised offer by email that you can accept or reject and have the item returned to you.

 

Do you accept multiple identical items?

 

We can not accept multiple identical items using the automated system. If you wish to send multiple identical items to us please email us to get a quote.

 

Sending Your Items

 

Do I have to go to the post office to send my item?

 

If the item will fit in the post box and you do not want any insurance then you can just put it in the post box. If you want insurance or the item is big then you will need to take the item to the post office to drop it off. If you want your item to be insured then you need to get a proof of posting which is free if you ask at the post office.

 

How do I package my item?

 

Items should be packed in a box or bubble wrap envelope if they will fit. You should package your items carefully so that they do not get damaged in the post. Make sure the items can not move around in the box and of the items are fragile you should make sure there is enough padding on the outside. If the item is heavy you should make sure that the box is strong and well sealed so that the item does not burst through the packaging.

 

Is my package insured against loss or damage?

 

If you get a proof of posting from the post office then your parcel will be insured for £41. If you are sending more than £41 and want insurance you can either take out your own extra insurance at the post office or contact us and we will send a courier round to pick up the items.

 

Who pays for postage?

 

Postage is completely free as we pick up all the costs.

 

How long do I have to send the items to you after getting a quote?

 

After you receive the quote you need to send the items to us within 5 working days. If more than 5 days passes you will need to get a new quote before sending. If we receive items that have been quoted for more than 5 days ago we will send you a revised quote by email that you can either accept or reject and have the items returned to you.
